Born in Toulouse in the 13th of May 1978 of a french mother and a kabylian father . None of them knew about music . I listened at first some pop music (Mickael Jackson). When I was a young child I was a little bit far away from music . As unique child in my family I have no older brother or sister to tell me what to listen .. And I did my ear alone ! At first I went directly to Tchaïkovsky , Mussorgsky , I used to listen a lot of romantic music … Ravel and others And so I began pianoforte . I only wanted to play classical music at that time . Tchaïkovsky , Scriabin and Rachmaninov … And I was deeply into classical . After I used to listen rock and metal like Pantera , Sepultura and more of Faith No More with Mike Patton . I was a big fan of the voice of Patton and then I listen everything he made Mr Bungle , Fantômas , Maldoror , and collaboration with John Zorn , I was little bit intrigued by Mr Zorn so I decided to dig what ZOrn has done in music . It was a blast for me . I began with MASADA , I was like "woaw" !! Incredible , I see everything I listened from classical to metal to world music in one band . It was perfect . And I discover then it's label (tzadik) it was in 1999-2000 . In 2003 , I discover with the help of Trevor Dunn the Mr Bungle's bassist the music of Iannis Xenakis . It was my first experience of concrete music and electroacoustic . Soon enough , I decided to do that . At first , I did electronic music and soon . My music was more and more experimental and using concrete stuff . Finally I decided in 2011 to go in Conservatory in Toulouse . It was great with learning . And I quit in 2012 . After having my first cycle ! Now I keep going on doing music with my own little studio and computer and bank of sounds I collected throughout the years . I have enough sounds to make some compositions on my own.
Conception
I use to work on sound , the sound is my aim . I usually don't like to much treatments . I prefer working with what I have and make things acoustically sensitive with the mixing technic . I use some reverb , delay , gain or reverse to create atmosphere . But I like to not deform too much sound . I start from sound , for me it's the most important in this music . And each sounds call another one to make composition . I can explain a lot my process , it's like alchemy . It's very hard to say … I'm a maker in a sense . A constructor . Like François Bayle uses to say "compositions are like drawings and diffusion is building the drawings you've done !" ! So I think it's very good explanation . I'm drawing pieces and if people come into my world and it refers to Xenakis so for me it's a perfect description ! Once I finish all the things my professor used to tell us spatialisation must be done at the same as we composed . But not for me , I like to do it after . I can see and hear everything . I can go with everything , a picture I mean , a painting , a film can be a motivation for my compositions … Everything can be a motivation for my music .

Ballet est un projet collectif mené avec Marie Clain pour rendre la musique acousmatique autant que possible visuelle et lui donner un argument chorégraphique ! Il fallait aussi que cette musique puisse être écouté seule sans la vision de la danse . Autant pour ceux qui voit le spectacle que pour ceux qui ne le voit pas . Ici , on a un extrait de "Ballet" . un projet en 2 Actes , où l'on entend qu'un seul Acte (le premier) . Le deuxième sera crée avec Marie et sa troupe . Je le souhaite en tous cas !
"Iter Laternis" est partie d'un contact visuel .Une photo prise par Cyril Egretaud de "lampions urbains" installés dans une fourgonnette , l'impact visuel et poétique de la photo a engendré un regain d'activité compositionnelle . Je voulais quelque chose qui s'apparente au palindrome (début et fin renversés) Ce morceau ma foi assez minimal dans son approche est sans nul doute le plus apaisé que j'ai pu écrire
"Tout En Sol" est une pièce plus spécifique , il s'agit de field recording ou en tout cas une tentative de field recording . Ce sont des sons naturels pour la plupart ; l'agencement fut un véritable plaisir . Denis Dufour a eu des mots encourageant à l'époque à propos de cette oeuvre .
"Dans Le Lointain, Résonnent Mes Pensées" est une pièce d'un tout autre genre , que j'aime beaucoup . Très percussive faites de 4 - 5 sons de bases dont j'ai modifier le son et la vitesse . Malgré tout je crois à avoir réussi à faire un morceau assez poétique . Je vous laisse juge !?
"Agonie / Agogique" est une pièce que j'ai faite par plaisir uniquement . Je trouve que la musique concrète oublie parfois ce bonheur simple qu'est de faire de la musique pour leur propre plaisir et joie . Bien sûr les commandes sont importantes mais j'aime bien me dire parfois "allez je me pose ! et je fais un morceau pour mon bien ."
